We are holding our 2019 annual special evening on Wednesday, April 3rd at the same great venue. Ontario Power Generation has once again graciously offered their Information Centre at 1675 Montgomery Park Road, Pickering and you can expect the same excellent artwork, entertainment, information, fun and refreshments that we have become (dare I say it) famous for ~ and this year ~ I think it will be even better!

The evening is really all about our multi~talented members. We love to showcase our visual and performing artists ~ and we are also going to raise a little money for the Council by holding another eclectic silent auction and raffling off an exciting piece of artwork donated by artist Robert Hinves. We hope to be able to accept payments with Visa and MasterCard as well as cash and cheques!

Eastside Harmony

Guest Performers:
Eastside Harmony Chorus

And this year for the highlight of our evening, we are excited to present the Eastside Harmony Chorus which is a member of Sweet Adelines International; the world's largest singing organization for women, whose purpose it is to teach and perform the art of four-part harmony, barbershop style.

Eastside Harmony Chorus chartered in 1991 and has a history of singing excellence. They placed 3rd small chorus and 11th out of 20 choruses in the 2014 annual competition in Syracuse, New York. This annual competition is a singing extravaganza that takes place over the course of four days in the spring and involves hundreds of energetic women from all over northern New York state and Southern Ontario.

New members are always welcome at Eastside Harmony Chorus. There is no singing experience required; we have a wonderful education program to teach all aspects of singing four-part harmony. You don't even need to know how to read music as learning tapes or CDs are provided.

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at St. Francis Centre, 78 Church Street South, Ajax.
